RETURN TO FORKS;
Seventy years have come and gone since Bella married Edward and became a vampire. They moved away from Forks when they could no longer pass for the ages they were claiming. Bella, as promised, visited Charlie with Edward and their daughter, Renesmee, but they couldn't stay as close as they would have liked.
During the time that the Cullens were gone, Charlie died unexpectedly. The police passed it off as an animal attack, but when word reached the Cullens, they knew better. Rosalie and Emmett had been living separate for a while, but the rest of the Cullens attended the funeral, and spoke briefly with the shape-shifting packs, who made it clear what was happening in Forks. After Charlie's death, the packs seem to have gotten things back under control. Forks is a popular place for vampires it seems.
Shortly after, Renée and Phil died in Florida in a car accident. Edward arranged for their funerals to take place in Forks so the Cullens could attend, and they wouldn't have to worry about the sun.

The deaths hit Bella hard. She started getting depressed, making Edward and the other Cullens worry about what she might do. It wasn't long before they decided the best thing would be to return to Forks so Bella and Renesmee could be close to what was so familiar to them. But Edward is starting to question whether that was the best idea for them. It seems to have pulled the newest Cullens out of the darkest of their depression, especially since Renesmee is so much closer to Jacob, but the deaths are sure to have a lasting impression on the family.
The vampires are still not allowed on the Reservation. Sam thinks it's better this way, though Jacob doesn't agree. With the recent vampire population, Sam doesn't think having the Cullens on the Reservation is a good idea. Jacob thinks it will only help the treaty, not hinder it. The treaty stands, only now there are two packs: Sam's and Jacob's. Jacob's pack sticks around Forks more than La Push, even though they are all welcome in their homes.

The vampire population has gotten out of control again. Vegetarians are drawn to Forks because of the Cullens, carnivorous vampires are drawn because of the climate. Whatever the reason they are coming, it's not good for the humans, packs, or Cullens.
Since learning about the talents that the Cullens have, and the abnormally large size of their coven, the Volturi have become worried about their position in the vampire world. They've been keeping an eye on the Cullens, visiting every now and then, some even staying in Forks for long periods at a time. They stay away from the shape-shifters; they won't aggrivate them unless they have to, since they can't deny that no law has been broken regarding the treaty.
To make things worse, the relationship between Jacob and Renesmee may become strained. The packs are getting larger, the mates of the werewolves are also starting to phase, though they're sure it has something to do with the closeness and stress that comes along with being with a wolf. Renesmee has kept her vampire/human self intact. Carlisle's theory is that the vampire in her will not allow her to phase. This pleases the Cullens. But it's making things harder for Leah, who seems to have imprinted on Jacob, though Jacob refuses to leave Renesmee.

Everything is changing. Where will you stand when the Cullens RETURN TO FORKS?
